I couldn't get my name to work on that website, i wonder if i even put up a profile.  Geez the Nekkid Liz^ards were a fun group of people.  I too was so happy I got off the waiting list to play on a tourney team.  That must have been about 1998 when I got my computer.

Good times, fun people and the regular ridic room packed with so many players the 31st person got bumped into ridic1 automatically.

Sorry (((Bats))), my bad, sometimes I forget to remember you're not totally senile just yet. What time is it now anyway? Heeeh.

Jashopper's find got me to looking for old ridic memories myself and I found this little gem floating around out there in hyperspace: http://www.geocities.com/ridictourney/index.html

What a walk down memory lane that was. Sadly I also found a link to an old Lucky 7's page that had a memorial to Lightdancer and I just sat here and cried and cried, Lord I do miss that girl something awful.

Wow, definetly a walk down memory lane.  I havent heard of most of those people in a LONG time. Thanks for the memories, (((((( Chris ))))))

OMG! I can't believe I was ever that young in ridic years! That was back in the dark ages when you actually had to be asked to join tourney and then most likely spend some time on a waiting list. I still remember how happy I felt when I was placed on a team and yeah we Sixers sucked for awhile but as it turned out we did surprise everyone when we defeated the axis of evil (aka Rats and Raiders) and won tourney. Man that all seems like a lifetime ago, good find (((Jashopper))), but I must say it's almost embarrassing, I sound like some kind of ridic centerfold girl: "My likes are Anne Rice books and prime numbers and I hate listers". Sheesh. Btw I think most of the people I've seen on this forum remember what a lister was, for you younguns a lister was a pre-Google googler. See, back when we was young a cheater had to actually work at it, not like you young slackers. Heh.

Seeing this reminds me, about 6 months ago or so I found an old notebook I had where I used to write down the game scores from tourney and any notable things that happened for when I did game reports. How crazy was that, we not only used to play 2-3 games a week but we also took the time to post game scores and play-by-play, now we're lucky to get 3 warm bodies to show up. The times they are a-changing. I wish now I hadn't thrown that notebook out, it was a historic relic....sorta like Shel. wink
