It's workin great Kenrick, thanks so much! I've been in on IRC which seems just like it always did in TC. I've heard a couple people who went in on Java say it seems better on the new server than it was on TC, so thats good news! Now just gotta get everyone over there getting used to everything so we can have a jam-packed room every night! :)
I went ahead and made the new server live -- check it out, http://www.botosaurus.com or use your IRC client and connect to botosaurus.com, port 6667 or 6660.
For some reason it takes about a minute to connect, but once you are connected it should go relatively smoothly...
Thanks to a few friends, alanah and homi, I can now access both servers at one time, so there shouldnt be an issue about streaming from there. Just need to polish my multitasking skills, hehe
The server is almost ready! Since Talk City is keeping the bots until 2/2 I'm going to wait until Monday after they take the old bots down to start them up here.

Thanks Jass! Robbb actually helped my retarded butt get it goin the other night lol. I tried Boggle for a little while, but it seemed like the bot still had some bugs... either that or it just didnt like me, cuz it kept takin all my points away or not recognizing me at all, hehe.
Shel, just open another Mirc, and log onto botosaurus with that one. Thats the only way I know of doing it so far.. not sure if you can do it only having one Mirc open.
If anyone can tell me how to be on both servers at the same time, I'd appreciate it. I got the new server added to my mIRC, Im 99.9% sure we will be able to stream from the new server too, so I need to figure that out !!
Alanah, Im not sure if anyone has answered this for you yet but....just click on file in your Mirc and click on select server...a new window will come up...click on add...then just type in the botosaurus.com in description and irc server.
I tried it last night, it took a few for it to connect but it did, saw the games Mach has put there.
I've always gone to Talk City, so I have no idea how to add another server to my Mirc, lol. Could ya post some instructions as to how to go about getting to the server through mirc? (or someone else who's familiar with doing that sort of thing could post a how-to also)
They will be on botosaurus.com (accessible by IRC or web) although if you go there now there is nothing there! (Or there is stuff that is in flux while I'm testing).
Thanks for working so quickly for us Kenrick... I know we all appreciate it so much!! Give us some instructions on how to get onto your new server, and we'll be there as soon as ya open the doors, lol
Just an update on the new server - nothing will be available under February, but I have managed to install an IRC server and also install/test at least one of each bot on the machine. So as far as a standalone IRC server with games, it should be good to go on Feb 1 (or 2, whenever Talk City shuts down the bot server).
I haven't done much on the website yet, but that will come next...
